Xi Jinping visits Phnom Penh

April 17, 2025, the days after the Cambodian/Khmer New Year.
A short but very interesting article (brief history) on Cambodia after the Fall of Khmer Rouge. This brings back a lot of mixed memories. On the one hand, we were relief that the nightmare was over. On the other hand, the anxiety that Khmer Rouge might return sent chilled cold sweat down my spine. This was when my late Grandma decided to take me along with her and fled Cambodia to the refugee camp in Thailand and eventually, we got sponsored to Australia. I was fourteen.
